The NEW EPCOT Snack That'll Make EVERYONE Around You Jealous

Have we even recovered from the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival yet?

We spent an entire day eating our way around the festival to get you all the reviews, tell you about festival entertainment, and win a fun prize for eating cheese. But we’re STILL eating our way around EPCOT, y’all — this time with a frozen treat from Gelateria Toscana in Italy.

This treat is called the Coppa Amarena, and it’s made with Vanilla Gelato, Amarena Cherries, Amaretto Cookies, Whipped Cream, and Shaved Chocolate. If that description doesn’t make you drool, wait until you see it!

LOOK AT IT!

Yes, it’s Instagrammable, but what we’re really thinking about when looking at it is “How does it taste?” First, the vanilla and cherry flavors make a FANTASTIC combination. Then you’ve got that Milk Chocolate on top that just kinda melts into the rest and … well… 🤤 (Yes, that chocolate will melt because it’s VERY hot out).

We’re in love

The cherries (which taste real — none of that artificial stuff here) are spread on the top and under the whipped cream, but there’s also cherry juice drizzled throughout the ice cream, giving you that sweet cherry flavor in every bite. Also, the vanilla gelato is more like a vanilla bean, so it’s very flavorful, too.

So pretty, though

The cookies are also delicious — they’re little hollow cookies that are super fluffy and crunchy. They taste buttery with a hint of amaretto flavor. The Whipped Cream on top is also super fluffy, meaning that you’ve got some great textures here, too.

This is such a huge dessert that it’s easily shareable — but only if you want to share it! We know not everyone will appreciate the cherry and vanilla flavors (and might prefer chocolate), but for us, this one was a winner. It’s available now for $11.75.
