The past few weeks sure have been a whirlwind in Disney World, haven’t they?

We’ve seen tons of character meet and greets return to the parks (and we really mean TONS), plus the start of the 2022 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival! More exciting changes are still coming and today, we’re bringing you along to see one!

When the parks reopened, many offerings were modified and different. One such offering that had been modified was the Festival of the Lion King show in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. When the show reopened, it was a shortened version called A Celebration of the Festival of the Lion King. Some of the most iconic scenes from the show had been removed to promote social distancing and to keep everyone safe. But now, those scenes have returned!

We weren’t the only ones excited for the show! We arrived 45 minutes early and the theater was pretty packed when we sat down.

The show has been closed for a little while to reincorporate the scenes back in, but now it has reopened! Let’s take a look at what’s back!

The Tumble Monkeys are a major crowd favorite during the show.

The Acrobatic Birds, which were previously missing, have also returned!

We’re happy to see this fan-favorite show return to its former glory.

If you’re looking forward to even more changes in Disney World, the Harmony Barber Shop in the Magic Kingdom is reopening its doors at the end of this month (check out their updated pricing if you’re interested!), and the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will be back making princess transformations again soon, as well.
