Ever wondered what it’s like to eat ALL the way around World Showcase during the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival?
Well, that’s EXACTLY what we’re doing — we’re heading to each booth to bring you our full reviews! And now we’re traveling to Greece by way of EPCOT, ready to try out whatever delicious foods this booth is serving!
Menu
Let’s take a look at the Greece menu — everything here is inspired by, well, Greece!
This year there’s only one new item on the menu, so let’s try it out!
Food
Returning this year is the Spanakopita and Griddled Cheese and brand new to the menu is the Lamb Gyro. Let’s dive right in!
The Lamb Gyro is the new item this year! At $6.50, it comes served with shaved lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, and tzatziki on warm flatbread.
We were pleasantly surprised by this! The lamb was cooked so that it had the consistency of bacon or some type of jerky, so it was kind of hard to bite, and it did have a somewhat jerky-esque flavor to it. This thing is absolutely LOADED with tzatziki sauce, but we’re not complaining about that because it was nice and tangy!
The lettuce and red onion gave the gyro a nice freshness and were a good reprieve from the lamb. The flatbread it’s served on was toasted, so it had a firm exterior, but was soft on the inside. Overall, we really enjoyed this.
The Spanakopita for $4.75 is returning this year. This is a savory pastry with a filling of spinach and cheese (oh, yeah, CHEESE). We LOVED this. It’s ooey and gooey on the inside, in fact, we liked to think of it as a hug inside a pocket of bread. The cheese is a little bit sour, but it pairs really well with the spinach. It’s like the perfect little spinach dip on the go!

Spanakopita
The Griddled Cheese with Pistachios and Honey for $4.75 is also returning this year! This gluten-free snack has been a favorite of ours in the past, so we can’t recommend it enough. While we really enjoy it, we definitely acknowledge that it can be a little off-putting. The honey can give it a strange flavor that you might not be expecting, but we think the texture is super fun — almost like a cheese stick! We think that the pistachios on top are a nice touch and give the whole thing some crunch.
If you love the Griddled Cheese as much as we do, you can even grab the recipe to make it at home!
Drinks
All the drinks at this booth are returning items, including the Mylonas Assyrtiko White Wine for $6. We loved how light, crisp, and fruity this wine was in the past.
The Zoe Rosé is also back this year for $5. This was a favorite of ours last year with its fruity and crispy flavor.
The Kir-Yianni Naoussa Xinomavro Dry Red is returning, too! This one was VERY sweet, so if you’re not into super sweet wines, you might want to skip it, but it does have a nice crisp dry flavor. You can grab it for $6.
Want to try all three? You can grab a Wine Flight!
The wine flight is $6.50.
Overall
Overall, we enjoyed the Greece booth! The spanakopita is always a win for us, and we like the griddled cheese, even if it might not be everyone’s favorite. The new lamb gyro was good as long as you can get past the texture of the meat. All in all, Greece remains a solid choice at the Food and Wine Festival!
