We’re running all around trying all of the booths at the 2022 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival!

It’s a good day to be in the American Adventure Pavilion

From full menus for ALL of the Festival booths to a every single Eat to the Beat Concert you’ll be able to check out, we’re exploring it all so you know what to prioritize on your visit! Now, we’re taking you on a food adventure through the Funnel Cake Stand in the American Adventure Pavilion. This booth is here year-round, but there’s a SPECIAL funnel cake for the Food & Wine Festival, so let’s check it out!

Over at the Funnel Cake Booth, you can always find something sweet to snack on! This booth has a new funnel cake for every EPCOT festival. We’ve seen a Strawberry Cheesecake Funnel Cake and a Cherry Blossom Funnel Cake at other festivals this year, and we can’t wait to taste what they’ve cooked up for the Food & Wine Festival!

Is this exclusive festival funnel cake as refreshing as it sounds?! Let’s find out!

Eats

We grabbed the Mini Piña Colada Funnel Cake! This funnel cake has piña colada ice cream, whipped cream, toasted coconut, and maraschino cherry, and was drizzled with coconut-rum sauce! It was $9.50 — a pretty hefty price for a mini cake!

We haven’t had this funnel cake before, so we were super excited to try it! And boy, are we glad we did. This might be a Best of the Fest item — it was SO refreshing and exactly what we needed on a blisteringly hot Disney World day. The piña colada ice cream was sweet and creamy, while the funnel cake itself was freshly made and warm.

The toasted coconut shavings were a welcome crunch, and if you’re a coconut fan this is definitely the dessert for you.

Overall

We definitely recommend heading over to the Funnel Cake Stand to check out this exclusive treat, but be warned that it melted EXTREMELY quickly in the heat, and for the price we felt it was pretty small! If you’re looking for a refreshing dessert that will cool you down during the festival, the Mini Piña Colada Funnel Cake might do the trick!
