REVIEW: Try Magic Kingdom’s NEW 50th Anniversary Snack With Us

Welcome to Disney World, where there are so many snacks to try it can be really difficult to know just what to get!

We love the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor!

Some snacks we end up loving, and others end up being a disappointment. That’s why we do our very best to share reviews of ALL the latest snacks so you know what might be (or might not be) worth your hard-earned cash! Recently, we made our way over to the Main Street Plaza Ice Cream Parlor to try out their NEW rootbeer float, and we’ve definitely got some thoughts.

You can now grab the Main Street Float at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor for $7.99. It’s a new 50th Anniversary snack that is made of a rootbeer float with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and caramel popcorn. Note that online the price shows as $11.99, but when we got it today it rang up as $7.99.

The Main Street Float

We enjoyed this treat, but it’s basically just your regular rootbeer float. All the “bonus” treats are on the top and sort of are ones you might just eat separately. In a way, it’s almost like you’re eating two desserts. We were pleasantly surprised that the popcorn was fresh and not stale, so that was great.

We think this simple staple treat is good for kids or adults who need a little mid-afternoon pick-me-up, as long as the individual doesn’t have a nut allergy (because of those peanut butter chips!). If you’re a fan of rootbeer floats, you can’t go wrong with this one!

But, if you’re looking for something super unique, this won’t really do it for you!
