We are constantly hunting for new drops and are eagerly awaiting the new MagicBand+ that comes out officially sometime this summer. (We’ve already accidentally seen some in the parks.) Today while we were hanging out in EPCOT, we found another new band that has us feeling nostalgic!
Today in EPCOT while shopping in Gateway Gifts (below Spaceship Earth), we noticed this new limited edition band! While we have loved new bands like the Fourth of July band and the new Main Street Electrical Parade band, this one was definitely eye-catching!
The new Retro Magic Band
The band features some of our favorite pals in some throwback artwork. Mickey is seen conducting the train (and a song!) while Donald and Pluto ride along with him.

Just below the Walt Disney World logo, while Mickey is conducting, Donald plays the saxophone, and Pluto sings (or barks?) along. We’d like to imagine they’re playing “When You Wish Upon A Star.” (Not sure why we chose that song, but we think it’s cute)
These bands won’t be around for long
On the other side of the band, you can see Mickey’s entire train chugging along right next to Cinderella Castle. Right in front of the castle is Mickey again, this time in his band leader costume!
We love the vintage artwork on this new band!
While we aren’t sure how we feel about the lime green base, we still think this MagicBand is pretty retro! It’s currently available for $39.99 but with this being a limited release, you never know how long it’ll be around!
