FIRST LOOK at a NEW Disney Fireworks Show

Hong Kong Disneyland is home to some of the coolest Disney stuff we’ve seen!

From their customizable Ear Headbands that we’re praying make their way to Disney World, to a preview of their incredible new fireworks show, we’ve never wanted to make the trip out to Hong Kong more! They just reopened their gates at the end of April, and now they just shared a first look at their new fireworks!

We just got a sneak peek at Hong Kong Disneyland’s new fireworks show, Momentous, which will premiere on June 18th! the show has projection mapping, pyrotechnics, water projections, lasers, fireworks, and more. Check out the video Disney shared here!

Momentous is the finale to the trilogy of Hong Kong Disneyland’s castle. The castle itself debuted in 2020, its first show, “Follow Your Dreams,” premiered in summer 2021, so Momentous is a pretty momentous occasion for the park!

The show has 6 different chapters, each one about celebrating a different stage of life! Chapter 1 is called Time Begins, Chapter 2 is Time of Your Life, Chapter 3 is Time for Change, Chapter 4 is Times Stands Still, Chapter 5 is Test of Time, and Chapter 6 is Time to Remember. And of course, it wouldn’t be a Disney fireworks show without an epic finale tying it all together!

The show also features a new song called “Love the Memory,” which you can hear in the preview that Disney shared today! We can’t wait to hear more about this show when it debuts in just a few days!

If you’re not located in Hong Kong, there’s still a lot of Disney fireworks news to be excited about today! Disney just announced that an exclusive Disney World fireworks show will be streaming on Disney+, and special fireworks will be in EPCOT for a limited time this summer!
