It’s SO exciting when new restaurants and food spots open up at Disney World!

Just in the past year, we’ve seen a new steakhouse open up, a new space restaurant open in EPCOT, a new food truck roll into town, and even a new Dole Whip stand open in Disney Springs. A NEW ice cream spot is opening soon in Disney Springs as well, and you can actually get FREE ice cream during the grand opening!
Salt & Straw officially opens tomorrow, April 20th, at Disney Springs! It’s a family-run ice cream business known for some very unique flavors of handmade, small batch ice cream utilizing local, organic, and sustainable ingredients. Some of the wild flavors we’ve seen at other locations in the past include Black Olive Brittle & Goat Cheese, Mushroom, and even Turkey!

But, don’t worry, they have some more traditionally sweet flavors as well. Salt & Straw has said that the flavors we can expect at their Disney Springs location include favorites like Honey Lavender and Chocolate Gooey Brownie, along with unique flavors specific to Florida including The Salty Donut Guava & Cheese and Panther Coffee Chocolate Tres Leches.

But, the flavors aren’t the only exciting thing happening over at the ice cream shop — Salt & Straw has shared with us that they will be offering the first 100 customers a FREE scoop of ice cream for their official grand opening tomorrow!

So, if you want to try out the new spot AND get free ice cream, we suggest you get their early to be one of the first 100 customers! The hours listed online right now say the spot opens up at 10AM!
