Every Disney World resort has its own distinct theme, which is half the fun of staying at all the different hotels! There’s the coastal-chic atmosphere of Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts, the New Orleans-inspired Port Orleans Resorts, and the sporty design of All-Star Sports Resort, to name a few. But over at one of Disney’s newest hotels, the Riviera Resort, guests are transported to Europe for a little French Italian flair. It’s artsy, bright, and BEAUTIFUL!

Artist Mickey knows a thing or two about design!
Of course, Disney World guests get to enjoy the Disney resorts whenever they want, but recently, another group of people got to enjoy the Riviera Resort during a special event! Let’s take a look.
One of the (many) perks of staying at a Disney World hotel is that you’re treated like royalty by friendly resort Cast Members. From our friends working in food and beverage to those hardworking housekeepers, Cast Members go above and beyond to help make vacations special.

Disney’s Riviera Resort
Recently, Cast Members at Disney’s Riviera Resort helped celebrate World Art Day by completing a Riviera Resort paint-by-numbers mural backstage! Disney showed off a few photos on its Cast Member Facebook page; as you can see, the mural is a work in progress, but it’s looking GREAT!

Cast Members from all over the resort were able to help paint a colorful mural — isn’t it pretty?

As you can see, there’s even a little Disney magic backstage just for Cast Members. We don’t get to see what it’s like behind the scenes very often, so it’s pretty exciting to catch a glimpse of what goes on behind the curtain.

Now, those Riviera Resort Cast Members can say that they had a hand in the art and design of a Disney World hotel — talk about a fun accomplishment! We’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more!
