One of those spots is so popular, there’s pretty much ALWAYS a line out the door AND they sometimes even utilize a virtual queue system to try and keep guest waits to a minimum. Yep, we’re talking about Gideon’s Bakehouse! Today, we tried a NEW item at the gothic-cartoon-themed bakery that you WON’T find on the normal menu — let’s check it out!
Gideon’s Bakehouse is well-known for its massive cookies (they’re a half-pound, people!) and cake slices. But they often have secret menu items that pop up from time to time (IYKYK).

For the month of March, if you ask for it, you can get a secret menu item: the Salted Caramel Nitro Cold Brew Coffee!
Salted Caramel Nitro Cold Brew Coffee
Made with house-made salted caramel, this decadent pick-me-up is gluten-free and can be made vegan depending on your choice of milk. This was a super refreshing cold brew coffee — perfect for those hot and humid Florida mornings (or afternoons…or evenings…). And it definitely didn’t skimp on the flavor!
Sweet and refreshing on a hot spring morning!
The salted caramel was the star here, and it made for a pretty sweet cup of joe. It’s got a milder coffee flavor, so if you don’t like super-sweet coffee and want to be able to taste those toasty beans, you may want to skip this one!
