What’s New in Disney’s Animal Kingdom: FANCY Ears and a Suspicious Photo Op 👀

And that’s because we’ve spent a lot of it exploring Disney’s Animal Kingdom! We love strolling around this park and we’ve been lucky enough to pay a few visits this week. Now, we’re bringing you everything NEW in food, construction, and merchandise!

Joffrey’s Locations

As you may know, Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea kiosks around the theme parks are currently dealing with a bit of a stinging situation…literally. It’s BEES!

Bee-Wave

Some of the kiosks have paused the use of syrups at this time to reduce the “bee-wave.” This week, we spotted that the Asia location had syrup pumps, but the Joffrey’s outside of the entrance did not.

Harambe Market in Africa had a few more tables outside where guests can stand while they eat.

Animal Kingdom Construction Updates

Discovery Island

Just outside of Discovery Trading Company, we spotted a new Encanto photo op! Interestingly, this spot looked a little bit like it could be a set for a new character but multiple Cast Members told us that’s not the plan; it’s just a photo op!

Animal Kingdom Merchandise Updates

Island Mercantile

Island Mercantile had new Luxe Logo 50th Minnie Ears for $39.99. So snazzy!

These sold out FAST on the first day they were stocked, but don’t worry! On our most recent visit, we spotted that they had been restocked.

Photography Stand

Just outside of Discovery Trading Company during one of our stops, we spotted a Photography Stand where you could purchase prints, slate coasters, and ornaments featuring wildlife photography from Simone Amaduzzi.
