The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will be here before we know it! The festival takes place from January 14th through February 21st, 2022.
The festival celebrates Culinary, Visual, and Performing Arts with several food booths, over 100 artists, and performances like the Disney on Broadway Concert Series. And, we just found out about some NEW additions to the festival this year!
There are NEW booths coming to EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts next year! First up, we have Deco Delights and The Craftsman’s Courtyard, which will make their debut at the festival.
Deco Delights will be near Port of Entry and have sleek desserts inspired by Art Deco, from the gilded glamor of the roaring 20’s to the bright pastels of Miami Beach. And, The Craftsman’s Courtyard will be near Disney Traders and feature savory seafood and refreshing salads, inspired by one of the many hubs of the Arts and Crafts movement: the coast of California.
Also new to the festival this year is The Donut Box over by Test Track. It will have delicious donuts, like it has for the past few festivals at EPCOT, and Disney says the donuts will pair wonderfully with a glass of rosé or a coffee cocktail, so we can expect to see those on the drink menu!
Some of the food studios also have some new names for the 2022 festival! Germany’s previous Cuisine Classique is now the Pastoral Palate, which will have some new items like wild boar cassoulet. Also changing names is Canada’s Masterpiece Kitchen — the food studio is now called Gourmet Landscapes and will have some new items like beet carpaccio.
Morocco’s Mosaic Canteen has switched over to Tangierine Café: Flavors of the Medina, which has been serving food at the other festivals this year and is located inside where the original Tangierine Café quick service spot was before the 2020 closures. Expect items like grilled kebabs, almond phyllo pockets, hard cider, and the chai tea mint mimosa.
That means there will be 15 Food Studios throughout World Showcase for the festival, serving up artfully presented cuisine and beverages. We don’t have the full menus for the 2022 festival booths yet, but you can check out the menus from 2021 right here.
