REVIEW: See Someone Happily Licking a Cup in Disney World? It's Just Us.

It may be wintertime, but in Florida, we eat ice cream and drink milkshakes ALL year long! Lately, Disney has been in a festive mood — we’ve seen new sugar cookie-inspired Minnie ears, tried some cookies on the Cookie Stroll in EPCOT, and admired the decorations all around the parks and resorts!

Hello from Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

While we were in Disney’s Hollywood Studios this morning, we noticed a NEW holiday milkshake! Does it taste as good as it looks? Let’s find out!

There’s a new milkshake at Hollywood Studios’ resident cute little ice cream stand on Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood Scoops. It’s bright, white, and covered in CANDY CANES!

The new Holiday Candy Cane Shake is made with vanilla candy cane ice cream, and is topped with whipped cream, a chocolate cake doughnut, and little candy cane pieces!

New shake alert!

Let’s talk flavors. If you’re a fan of mint ice cream, you’ll probably enjoy this candy cane milkshake! The ice cream has a sweet vanilla taste with a subtle candy cane flavor, but the mint isn’t overpowering at all! In fact, the shake was quite well-balanced in our opinion. We thought it was a great mix of sweet and minty.

This screams PEPPERMINT!

As with most Disney desserts, this is pretty sweet (some might say a little too sweet), so keep that in mind if you’re not a huge fan of sweet treats. This milkshake was very filling — it’s basically a meal in itself! If you have a big dining reservation coming up, you might want to make sure you’ll have room for another meal!

This is practically a MEAL!

BT-DUBS, you’re in Disney World. No one will judge you for licking the sides of a milkshake cup in front of the Tower of Terror at breakfast-time to get all the crushed candy cane bits. NO👏 ONE👏! Live your life! 🙂

Those lil candy cane bits are like “please eat meee!”

The chocolate donut was a fun addition, but the real star of the show is obviously the shake.

Overall, we really enjoyed the new Candy Cane Shake at Hollywood Scoops! If you aren’t a fan of candy cane/peppermint, you might want to skip this one, but for all our holiday lovers, give this shake a try if you get the chance! You can try it for $9.49.
