Park Hours Extended For The Holiday Season in Disney World

With the holidays just around the corner, there’s a LOT going on at Disney World right now!

Magic Kingdom

If you’re headed to Disney World for the upcoming holidays, you’ll want to be aware of the park hours for the days you’re there. Now, we’ve spotted some changes to the Disney World park hours for select dates in December and early January.

Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom will now close at 10PM instead of the usual 9PM on December 18th…

..and, on December 19th and 21st, Magic Kingdom will open at 8AM instead of 9AM. On December 20th and the 22nd-24th, the park will open at 9AM, but stay open until 11PM. December 25th will also have extended hours, with the park closing at 10PM.

From December 26th through December 29th, the park will be open from 9AM to 10PM (extended from 9PM). On December 30th and 31st, the park will be open from 9AM to 1AM (extended from the previous 12AM closure). So if you’re looking to enjoy some New Year’s Eve late-night fun in the park, that’ll be available to you!

On January 1st, 2022, Magic Kingdom will also close a little later — staying open until 11PM.

EPCOT

Over in EPCOT, the park will be open at 10AM instead of 11AM on December 18th. And, the hours will then be further extended from December 19th through 24th, with the park opening at 9:30AM.

EPCOT will continue to open at 10AM each day from December 26th through December 31st. And on December 31st it will now stay open until 1AM (previously 12AM).

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios had not seen any hour extensions through early December, but guests will now be able to visit the park from 8:30AM to 9PM between December 19th to 24th (the hours were previously 9AM to 9PM). Additionally, the park will remain open until 12AM on December 31st.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Disney’s Animal Kingdom will will close at 8PM from November 29th through December 2nd.

The park will also stay open until 8PM on select other days in December including December 4th, 5th, 6th, 11th, 12th, and 18th.

The park will also open at 8AM on several days in early December (as opposed to 9AM). The park will open at 8AM on December 3rd-4th, and 6th-18th.

On December 12th-18th, Animal Kingdom will open at 8AM instead of 9AM. On December 12th and 18th, the park will stay open until 8PM. On December 13th-17th, the park will close at 7 PM.

From December 19th through the 31st, we’ll also see some extended hours at Animal Kingdom as the park will open at 8AM and close at 8PM each day. It will also be open from 8AM to 8PM on January 1st, 2022.
