Disney World celebrates quite a few holidays and special occasions.

We’ve seen special festivities held or items released for Christmas, Halloween, the New Year, Life Day (for all the Star Wars fans), and more. But, today is a VERY special day in Disney history and to celebrate you could grab something for FREE. Do you know what day it is?

Walt Disney once said “I hope we never lose sight of one thing — that it was all started by a mouse.” And, today, we celebrate that special mouse, and another Disney mouse as well! Today is Mickey and Minnie Mouse’s birthdays!

On November 18th, 1928, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse both made their debuts in Steamboat Willie.

Over the past few years, we’ve seen Disney celebrate Mickey’s birthday in particular with special treats and more. If you’ll be heading into Disney World today (November 18th), you’ll be able to celebrate the birthdays of these two very famous and beloved characters with a FREE souvenir!

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade

Over at Disney Springs, you can head to the World of Disney store today and ask for a Mickey and Minnie Birthday Button! The store was handing out 1 FREE button to each guest while supplies last.

The button features Mickey and Minnie on it in the newer cartoon short style and says “Happy Birthday Mickey an Minnie 2021.” Be sure to stop by Disney Springs if you’ll be around today to get yours (while they’re still available).
