Most of Disney World seems to have skipped Thanksgiving altogether and moved on to Christmas.
Although Christmas decorations are going up all over the place, you can still find some ways to celebrate Thanksgiving in the parks. One restaurant just announced TWO special meals, celebrating both Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
In Disney Springs, the City Works Eatery & Pour House is planning to celebrate two upcoming holidays with festive feasts.
On November 25th (Thanksgiving Day), City Works is offering a Thanksgiving Feast. It’ll include herb-roasted turkey and “classic holiday sides, along with decadent desserts.” Some of the sides include creamy mashed potatoes, traditional stuffing, roasted brussels sprouts with bacon lardons, and corn casserole. So head on down if you want all the deliciousness of this holiday with none of the after-party clean-up!
You can make reservations for this meal at City Works’ website. On the next day (November 26th), this restaurant is celebrating Black Friday with a special brunch that’s usually only served on the weekends. You can get the Rock ‘n’ Roll Brunch (with themed dishes like “Jon Bun Jovi” and “Johnny Hash”) on Friday from 10AM to 3PM.
Also on Black Friday, guests can order “Goose Island’s elusive Bourbon County Stout on tap.” The stout is only available at a few Central Florida locations, and it’s incredibly popular in its hometown of Chicago. You can get the “complex, barrel-aged stout” for $11 for a six-ounce portion (while supplies last).
If you’re looking for a place to celebrate Thanksgiving and Black Friday next week, be sure to check out the offerings at City Works in Disney Springs. And keep following DFB for more of the latest holiday news from Disney World.
