Happy Holidays from Disney’s Animal Kingdom! The festive season has arrived in Disney World’s youngest theme park and we’re loving it (especially the return of the Merry Menagerie puppets — so cute!).

Today, we’ve got a special treat for you: we’re taking a look at some of the first holiday projections of the season on Animal Kingdom’s icon, the Tree of Life!
This holiday season, you can see projections at various parks. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you’ll find the return of the Tree of Life Awakenings — Holiday Edition, which we’ve seen in previous years.
Tree of Life
Much like the rest of Animal Kingdom, these projections focus on the beauty of nature, showing various scenes, including a winter wonderland!

Along with scenes of snowy nature, you’ll also spot some holiday images, like this gorgeous Christmas tree.
So festive!
The Tree of Life Awakenings — Holiday Edition takes place about every 5 minutes. There were 3 short animal stories that we saw during our time there, including one focused on a reindeer.
So Pretty!
You can also still enjoy the Tree of Life’s special nighttime look a Beacon of Magic with its EARidescent lighting, which celebrates Disney World’s 50th Anniversary, when the holiday projections aren’t happening. When we visited, things started with the Beacon of Magic lighting around 6:15PM, but times are subject to change.
