REVIEW: A Funnel Cake Is the Real Star of Disney World’s New After Hours Event

Sleepy Hollow Refreshments in Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square is known for delicious treats like chicken and waffle sandwiches, funnel cakes, and seasonal drinks like the Doom Berry!

We’ve been making our way around Magic Kingdom today trying a bunch of new holiday treats. But now, we’re trying a new holiday funnel cake at this fan-favorite quick service spot!

At Sleepy Hollow, you’ll be able to find the Ginger Apple Funnel Cake! This treat is made with Gingerbread Funnel Cake topped with Apple Pie Filling, Vanilla Ice Cream, and Caramel Sauce and is available for $7.99.

First of all, this funnel cake is GORGEOUS! It has a festive golden color that screams the holidays. There’s a strong gingerbread flavor with lots of spice and warmth that’s pairs amazingly with the flavor of the apple pie filling on top.

It’s a winner!

And of course, how can you go wrong with ice cream on a dessert (okay, there are many ways, but this one does it right!). If there was a holiday treats Olympics, this one would get a gold medal.

And if that delicious funnel cake wasn’t enough, how about a float? The Apple Cider Float is available for $5.99 at Sleepy Hollow! Honestly, this one is good, but it just didn’t wow us like the funnel cake. If we had to choose, we’d probably get the funnel cake again instead of this. However, it’s great for the frozen apple cider lovers!
