Last year, Give Kids The World Village hosted its first annual Night of a Million Lights holiday lights spectacular.
Give Kids The World Village is a nonprofit resort near Disney World that provides weeklong, cost-free vacations to critically ill children and their families. The resort is usually not accessible to the public, so the Night of a Million Lights offers guests the rare opportunity to visit the resort to check out millions of holiday lights, all while supporting a great cause!
This year, Night of a Million Lights is scheduled to run from Friday, November 12th, 2021 through Sunday, January 2nd, 2022. And if you’d like to support Give Kids The World Village by helping to make this magical event happen, now’s your chance!
Give Kids The World Village is currently looking for volunteers ages 12 and up to fill shifts beginning on November 9th, through the end of the event on January 2nd. Volunteers are required to be fully vaccinated, and those ages 12-15 must be accompanied by an adult.
Volunteers will assist with a range of activities that will give them a unique behind-the-scenes look at the event. Some of the tasks volunteers will help with include serving food, assisting with ticket scanning and parking, helping with merchandising, and providing guest service.
To register to volunteer, interested groups and individuals can visit the Night of a Million Lights website. If you’re looking for a unique way to spread joy this holiday season, here’s your chance!
