FIRST LOOK At ‘Incredibles’-Themed Family Competition Area on the Disney Wish Cruise Ship

There are a lot of exciting things coming to the Disney Wish cruise ship!

The latest addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet takes its maiden voyage next summer, and we’ve received quite a few details on dining options, activities, and even a look into the various staterooms. Today, Disney dropped some more news — sharing a first look at the new Incredibles-themed family competition area inside the Hero Zone sports arena!

The new offering, dubbed the Incredi-Games, will be a “highly interactive, imaginatively produced game show” with an incredible obstacle course, challenge games, and more, all themed to the popular Pixar movie. Here’s what you can expect inside:

Mr. Incredibles Power Punch — heroes will test their strength by busting through a “brick” wall
Jack-Jack’s Whack-A Rac — you’ll face off against Rocky and his raccoon friends from Incredibles 2
Elastigirl’s Stretch-O-Rama — an obstacle area with a variety of twists and turns
Dash’s Mad Dash Mayhem — made for the “speedsters” of your family
Violet’s Force Field Swing — sends supers soaring across an imaginary lava field
Frozone’s Ice Slide — “where heroes will ascend to the highest peak and slide down the icy slope to victory”

This game show-like experience will have high-energy hosts, great music, and fun for the spectators watching everything go down. Those who want to observe can even check out the viewing area from the balcony of the Hero Zone. And in addition to the family competition, your littlest ones can compete in Jack-Jack’s Incredible Diaper Dash, “as they speed-crawl across a 20-foot track amid the cheers (and chuckles) of family, friends, and adoring fans.”

When you’re not competing or watching others compete, you can hang out in the Hero Zone and enjoy the free-play sports hub with basketball, air hockey, ping pong, and more. This whole area of the ship has a lot to offer!
