One of the best things about Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration is all the new merchandise and NEW shops.

EPCOT’s Port of Entry
And one of the collections we’ve been the most excited about is the Vault Collection, which throws it way back to 1971 with retro-themed Disney World souvenirs. We are here for it!
We previously checked out this collection at The Marketplace Co-Op at Disney Springs, but now the EPCOT shop Port of Entry is getting in on the vintage Vault Collection action.

Orange Bird!
We popped into the store today and saw that the store was already redecorating in honor of the collection!

We noticed a lot of displays set up with old photos of Walt Disney as he mapped out “The Florida Project.”

Walt!
Walt Disney did not live to see “The Florida Project,” aka Walt Disney World open, but his brother Roy oversaw the project and made sure that Walt’s dream did not die. Displays throughout Port of Entry show both brothers and their histories with what would become Walt Disney World.

Vault collection banners are hanging from lampposts in the shop.

There’s a big “50” in the store’s main display, recognizing Disney World’s 50th anniversary!

Other new details have also been added, including this retro wrap around the globe that hangs from the shop’s ceiling.

Love these little touches
A Cast Member told us that they were preparing for the Vault Collection, but that it hasn’t arrived at the shop just yet. However, they expect to have all those cool retro Disney World items in soon, so keep checking back with us because we’ll let you know when they’re here!
