REVIEW: Does Disney World’s Chili-Lime Popcorn Bring the Heat?

Disney has been cranking out snacks like CRAZY for the 50th Anniversary Celebration! From sweet new ice cream to crazy hot dogs, we’ve tried it ALL.

But don’t worry, Magic Kingdom isn’t the only park with new snacks and treats! We found some colorful new popcorn in Disney’s Animal Kingdom today, and one of the flavors is pretty interesting… .

Thanks to this handy sign, you can see two NEW popcorn mixes arrived in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. There’s a 50th Celebration Rainbow Popcorn (fruit-flavored) and a Chili-Lime Caramel Corn Mix — both $12 with the popcorn bucket. We spotted these at the popcorn cart right by Animal Kingdom’s new show, KiteTails!

The popcorn comes in this little ziplock bag, which you can dump into the 50th Anniversary Animal Kingdom popcorn bucket that is included with the popcorn.

The 50th Celebration Rainbow Popcorn was fruity and crunchy! It’s definitely a sweet popcorn and is your classic fruity popcorn. Nothing too special, but it’s an easy snack to grab before you sit down to watch KiteTails!

Now that is COLORFUL!

Speaking of sweet, the Chili Lime Caramel Corn Mix surprised us; it was pretty sweet, too! The interesting combination of sweet and spicy worked well here. The chili and lime flavors were subtle, and we mostly tasted the sweet caramel!

We actually would have liked a little MORE of the chili and lime flavor! If you like kettle or caramel corn, you might actually like this! If you’re more of a salty popcorn lover, you can skip this one. Keep in mind that this caramel corn is not Karamell-Küche-level popcorn, but it’s a fun addition to the classic Disney lineup!
