REVIEW: We Just Ate Our FIRST Cupcake of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary!

Disney World has rolled out a whopping 150 NEW treats for the 50th Anniversary Celebration! Whether you’re looking for a savory or sweet dish, or you’re looking for a food or drink item, there’s a massive amount of new goodies to try!

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

We’re heading over to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to see what they have to offer! And guess what? We found our very first cupcake of the day!

We all knew there had to be some sort of “EARidescent” Cupcake somewhere in Disney World, and we found it at Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridan Resort & Spa.

Specifically, we found the 50th Anniversary Mickey EARidescent Cupcake, which is a Vanilla Cupcake filled with Lemon Curd topped with Blueberry Mousse and enrobed in an EARidescent Glaze.

This cupcake was SUPER cute and shiny. It has two white chocolate Mickey ears and we love a treat with ears. There was a LOT of that blueberry mousse but it had a really nice taste that wasn’t too overpowering. Plus, the blueberry went super well with the lemon curd.

As for the cake itself, it was moist and simple. TBH, this cupcake had a cute look and a delightful flavor combo. Plus, it wasn’t overly sweet or rich (which is good because we ate ours very early this morning 😂).

The little Mickey and Minnie is a piece of milk chocolate and there’s a small fondant ribbon as well. This would be a good option for someone who prefers fruit flavors to chocolate!
