A lot is back to normal in the Disney theme parks, but we’re still wondering about some fan-favorite offerings.

Disneyland certainly had some modifications to holiday celebrations last year, which is why we were so excited to hear that holiday parades and fireworks WILL return this year! Now, the return of Candelight Processional to Disney World has us wondering if the event will come back to Disneyland too…
It looks like Candlelight Processional just might return to Disneyland this year! Recently, the Walt Disney Company filed a permit with the City of Anaheim for “Candlelight Procession Installation.” Eek!

The permit specifically calls for work on Main Street Train Station to install outdoor steel platforms, an outdoor wheelchair lift, an accessible platform, show light towers and audio towers, two generators, movable folding viewing seats, and wheelchair spaces with companion seats.

Disney has not officially announced the return of Candlelight Processional to Disneyland Park but this permit certainly seems to suggest that the much-loved tradition will resume this year.
