Do YOU Qualify for Disney World’s New Port Orleans Resort MagicBand?

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — both the French Quarter and Riverside sides — are set to reopen in just a few weeks!

Reservations for these spots are also already open. Guests staying at Disney World’s resort hotels and Annual Passholders sometimes have the ability to buy some MagicBand designs early or at a special discount. Well, if you’re a huge fan of Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, there’s a new MagicBand design you might just have to check out!

A huge thanks to reader Joe (@schreiberjoe on Instagram) for alerting us to this and sending along some great screenshots. Recently, a number of new MagicBands became available for Disney World Resort hotel guests and Annual Passholders to pre-order at a special, discounted price!

One of the newest MagicBands to become available is a design specifically tailored to Disney’s Port Orleans Resort! The MagicBand design features the words “Disney’s Port Orleans Resort French Quarter” on one side, with the wonderful Princess Tiana beneath them.

On the other side, you’ll find some more designs meant to refer to Princess and the Frog and Port Orleans Resort. The MagicBand is available at a special pre-order price of $25 (the comparable value being $39.99).

If you’re staying at a Disney World Resort Hotel or are an Annual Passholder, be sure to look at your My Disney Experience account to see if you can pre-order this band. It could be an especially great choice if Port Orleans is a favorite resort of yours or is the resort where you’ll be staying on your next trip!
