Shows like Wandavision and Loki have become incredibly popular and movies like Black Widow brought Marvel fans back into theaters for the first time since the pandemic began. Marvel’s latest movie, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was released just a few weeks ago, and brought in HUGE numbers in its premiere weekend. But, since the movie was released exclusively in theaters, many are wondering when it will be available on Disney+, and we have the answer for you!

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will be available on Disney+ on November 12, 2021! And — here’s the best part — it will be FREE to subscribers of Disney+!

Other big movies on Disney+ have required you to purchase premium access to watch, like Cruella or Black Widow, but those movies were released on the streaming service at the same time that they were released in theaters. Other big movies, like Mulan, were only released on Disney+, so they also required you to purchase premium access to watch.

However, since Shang-Chi was released only in theaters first, it will be available to subscribers of Disney+ at no extra cost. But, if you can’t wait until November 12th to watch, you can go see the movie in theaters right now!

November 12th is also Disney+ day, celebrating 2 years since Disney launched its streaming service. The company is celebrating with an “unprecedented, company-wide, cross-promotional campaign” according to Walt Disney CEO Bob Chapek. So, maybe there will be more surprises in store from Disney+!
