Fall is in the air at Disney World, with decorations and treats to match the season.
Such a Nice View
We’ve already celebrated the return of pumpkin coffee, found new fall treats at Amorette’s Patisserie, and tried FOUR fall treats at Vivoli il Gelato. But our love for fall flavors isn’t about to end there. We just found a NEW fall treat at a Disney World hotel!
You’ll find this new fall creation at Disney’s Riviera Resort, inside Le Petit Cafe. This is where we had the tasty Belle Cheesecake during World Princess Week, and now we’re back for the new holiday dessert.
Fall Acorn Dessert
This new treat is a Hazelnut Cheesecake Acorn with Hazelnut Chocolate in the middle. It’s all inside a White Chocolate Shell, standing on top of a house-made Graham Cracker.

This treat was REALLY sweet. We were expecting a cheesecake texture, but it felt more like a mousse. (That could have been because it melted very quickly outside, though!)
Fall Acorn at Disney’s Riviera Resort
The main flavor you’re hit with is definitely hazelnut, and the rest of the flavors are overpowered by it. The house-made graham cracker is one of the best parts — it gives an extra texture that the smooth mousse/cheesecake really needs!

The graham cracker also provides a break from the intense sweetness in the rest of this dessert. This cracker was probably our favorite part of the whole dessert.
Cut in half
We would’ve loved some other flavors to go with the hazelnut since the rest were really overpowered by that. But if you’re a big fan of Nutella, this is the dessert for you!
Inside the Dessert
We might’ve preferred a vanilla cheesecake with just a hazelnut filling to even out the flavors a little since we thought the one-note hazelnut was a little flat and definitely too sweet.
