There is a lot of celebrating going on at Disney World!

D-Luxe Burger
Not only is the park in the middle of celebrating all things Halloween, but it’s also gearing up for the massive 50th celebration that begins in a few weeks. On top of that, Disney World is also honoring Hispanic Latinx Heritage Month with a celebration that lasts through October 15th.
The celebration will include some special events, merchandise, and more that will be available throughout Disney World during that time. It will also feature some yummy eats, and we had a chance to check out one of those items TODAY! D-Luxe Burger at Disney Springs has a limited-time Tripleta Burger in honor of the celebration!

Tripleta Burger
The burger was created by Chef José Rodriguez and is made with a Signature-blend Beef Patty served with Shredded Lettuce, Tomato, Swiss, Black Forest Ham, and Pork Belly with Fried Potato Sticks and Ketchup Aïoli. It’s a fun play on the classic Puerto Rican Tripleta sammie, but with a burger instead of steak.

So much meat!
All that meat gives it a lot of flavor, although we tasted the pork belly the most. In case you were wondering, the Potato Sticks are ON the burger — they gave it a nice crunch.

Potato sticks are ON the burger!
We also LOVED the Ketchup Aïoli and would recommend asking for extra on the side because we thought the burger needed even MORE.

This stuff is AMAZING.
We were a little surprised that there wasn’t any heat to the burger as a whole, and our love of spicy foods had us a little disappointed about that. But this is still a solid option for burger lovers, especially those who don’t want one that’s spicy.

Another solid burger
The meat in the burger was cooked perfectly (remember, at D-Luxe you can specify your burger done-ness), and if you’re a Tripleta fan this will be in your wheelhouse obviously. But if you’re a meat-on-meat kind of eater, def try this. Feel free to try it for yourself for $11.99. We’ll let you know about any other Hispanic Latinx Heritage Month foods we try at Disney World, so stay tuned!
