Disney World’s 50th anniversary will be here in just two weeks!!

We’ve seen the parks getting ready for the big celebration by adding special new decorations like banners, signs, and a stage. Cinderella Castle also got a makeover and is ready for her birthday! 50 golden character statues are being added around the parks, too. We’ve seen statues pop up at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Animal Kingdom, and now, Hollywood Studios is joining in on the fun, and we think they’re the perfect place for park photos!

First, we found the absolutely fabulous Edna Mode from The Incredibles!

She looks stunning, darling, just stunning.

Of course, there are NO CAPES to be seen!

Next, we saw another Incredibles icon — Frozone!

He looks to be on a giant slab of ice, ready to take on some villains!

We’re just happy he found his super suit!

Next, we found two of our favorite sidekicks, but they weren’t under the sea anymore — check out Flounder and Sebastian!

Life looks like the bubbles for these two!

Then, we saw Joe Gardner from Pixar’s Soul!

He has the keys from his piano with him, of course.

Looking pretty snazzy and jazzy, if we do say so ourselves!

We also saw some terrific toys as statues — Woody and Bo Peep!

They’re definitely one of our favorite Pixar couples!

And finally, we found the droids we are looking for — R2-D2 and BB-8!

R2 is looking a bit more like his friend C-3PO with all that gold!

And BB-8 is still as cute as ever.

We love seeing some Star Wars representation in these statues!

These two were pretty popular, too! There was actually a line of guests waiting to take pictures with the space statues.

Those are all the character statues for the 50th so far in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! We’ll keep you updated when we see more, so stay tuned to DFB!
