You might have already heard of a little thing called Disney World’s 50th anniversary?

All jokes aside, Disney’s 50th anniversary is less than a month away and we’re excited to see everything Disney World has in store. While many of the 50th anniversary changes so far have been BIG or super noticeable, some of them are a bit more subtle but still JUST as important. 

One of the changes Disney World is making for the 50th anniversary celebration is name tag makeovers for Cast Members! The new name tag design will be shiny and EARidescent like much of the 50th anniversary decor we’ve seen. Brett Owens, a graphic designer with Disney Live Entertainment, contributed to the design, intending it as a big “thank you” to Cast Members.

Jeff Vahle, President of Walt Disney World Resort, posted on Instagram today that 50-year Cast Members (!!) have begun receiving their shiny new 50th anniversary name tags! He noted that the remaining Cast Members will start getting their new name tags next week.

We can’t wait to see Cast Members wearing their EARidescent new name tags! Vahle also added that final preparations will soon be made for the 50th anniversary, so we’ll be keeping a close watch for more 50th additions in Disney World over the next few weeks.
