REVIEW: A Hint Of Pear Takes This Disney World Margarita To The Next Level

You know what they say — it’s 5 ‘o clock somewhere.

Time to order up some drinks at Bar Riva

And there are lots of boozy options in Disney World. We’ve had everything from a Watermelon Margarita to a secret drink at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to a boozy Creamsicle Cocktail.

Today, we found ourselves at Bar Riva at Disney’s Riviera Resort and noticed something new on the menu: A Mediterranean Margarita. Ooh — color us intrigued!

Mediterranean Margarita?

And well, you know us — we had to give it a try. This delicious concoction, which costs $16, is made with Patron Silver Tequila, Pavan Liqueur de France, Lime Juice, and Agave. And we found that it’s one step up from a regular margarita thanks to the Pavan Liqueur, which is pear-flavored! It adds a unique twist to the drink!

But you have to like both pear AND lime because the lime here is the dominant flavor (but we’re fans of loads of lime in our margaritas). It also comes with a lime garnish!

If you’re not a fan of acidic drinks (or if you’re not good with them), we would recommend skipping this one.But if you’re a classic margarita fan looking for something a little extra and unique, definitely make a beeline over to Bar Riva to give the Mediterranean Margarita a taste.
