Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration starts in less than 31 days!

The parks are gearing up for the all of the festivities, which include things like a new cavalcade, a ride opening, new character costumes, and new statues around the parks! One of the things we’re MOST excited for is the new fireworks show in Magic Kingdom for the anniversary — Disney Enchantment! And we saw the parks preparing last night as the show’s opening date quickly approaches!

There were 3 big bursts, each about 5 minutes apart, between 12:50AM and 1AM!

Disney announced yesterday that they would be testing new fireworks in Magic Kingdom from 10:30PM to 1AM last night, August 30th, and tomorrow night, September 1st.

Disney Enchantment is set to premiere on October 1st, the kick-off date for all of the anniversary celebrations.

It will be replacing Happily Ever After, the current fireworks show running in Magic Kingdom.
