Restaurants throughout Disney World have been reopening over the past several months.
Just recently, Boma reopened in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, Dockside Diner reopened in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and more places are set to reopen soon. Over at EPCOT, many restaurants have reopened and now another one has joined the list — Tokyo Dining.
Tokyo Dining in EPCOT’s Japan pavilion temporarily reopened in November of 2020, the menu received a bunch of changes, and then it reopened again for a few days in December. But now it seems the restaurant has fully reopened.
The restaurant reopened today starting at 2PM and will be available until 8PM. According to the Disney calendar, starting on September 2nd the restaurant will close a little bit later, at 9PM. Just keep in mind that for now it looks like Tokyo Dining will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesday each week.
Also, for now the restaurant will only be accepting walk-ins, but be sure to check if that has changed by the time you visit.
Inside the restaurant, you’ll find a check-in area to one side.
The restaurant space itself has various seating areas.
There are some tables within an slightly enclosed area…
…and while you’re in this space you can see some of the chefs hard at work.
There is also a more open seating area to one side.
Throughout the space, you’ll find some tables marked as unavailable for health and safety purposes.
In terms of menus, we were not provided with a physical document when we stopped to visit today. But, you’re able to take a look at the menu online by scanning a QR code. The menu includes various appetizers and sushi…
…sushi rolls, sashimi…
…and some other items. There are also a variety of beverages available. Of course, keep in mind that menus can change so be sure to check and see what’s available when you visit.
We’ll be stopping by Tokyo Dining to eat a meal here soon so stay tuned for more details and a full review. And, as always, check back with us for all the latest Disney updates.
