While a number of restaurants, hotels, and attractions throughout Disney World have reopened over the past few months, some have remained closed.
Tortuga Tavern
One of the spots in Magic Kingdom that has been closed for quite some time is Tortuga Tavern. But, this quick service restaurant, which is typically just open seasonally, has reopened!
The Walt Disney World website currently shows hours of operation for Tortuga Tavern! For today, the restaurant’s hours are listed as 11AM to 5PM.

The menu at Tortuga Tavern has seen a number of changes over the years. In the past, it’s served up Ropa Vieja, Rum Cake, Turkey Legs, and other options.
Tortuga Tavern
So just what will Tortgua Tavern be serving up? The menu online shows a number of options. There’s a Turkey Leg with House-Made Chips, a Barbecued Slaw Dog, a Barbecued Pork Sandwich, and an All-Beef Hot Dog. And there’s one NEW item that sounds especially interesting — the Peanut Butter, Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread, and Banana Sandwich! This sounds just like an item that used to be served over at Aunt Polly’s.
There are also some drinks available, including a Desert Pear Lemonade Pirate Slushy.

We’ve seen many of the items from this menu offered in the past, like the Barbecued Pork Sandwich, although it was previously served on Texas Toast with Coleslaw and Baked Beans, so it appears the one that will be served today may be different.
Note that the menu also specifies that the Turkey Leg will be served at Pecos Bill’s Tall Take Inn and Cafe after 5PM while available.
Tortuga Tavern
Again, keep in mind that Tortuga Tavern is typically open seasonally. So, it’s not clear how long it’ll stay open, but we’ll keep an eye out for more updates on that.
