Review: Love Apple Pie? You'll Want to Check Out Disney World's New Tart!

Halloween has arrived in Disney World (yes, in August)!

Halloween is Here!

The Halloween season is kicking off with decorations, merchandise, and the start of Disney After Hours Boo Bash. And, of course, we can’t forget about ALL of the goodies you can find across the parks! We’ve already tried quite a few spooky treats today, and now we’re ready to share our thoughts on another. Is this a treat you should grab? Let’s find out!

If you’re in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can stop by the ABC Commissary to check out the new tart in town! The Caramel Apple Tart is a spiced caramel cheesecake mousse apple served on top of a cinnamon-apple tart.

This treat it reminds us a lot (some in terms of look and others in terms of ingredients) of a few treats we’ve seen before like the apple tart we saw in Disneyland in 2019 and the Poisoned Candy Apple we saw in Disney World last year.

While we have to acknowledge how CUTE the appearance is of this treat, the Caramel Apple Tart tasted just as good as it looked!

The Candy Apple Tart reminded us of an apple pie. The apple filling along the bottom paired nicely with the tart’s shell, giving us some Thanksgiving dessert vibes!

Plus, the apples and the tart shell provided a great crunch, complimenting the soft mousse. The tart wasn’t overly sweet, and had a nice balance of cinnamon to add an extra layer of flavor.

If you aren’t a fan of that mousse consistency though, you might not enjoy this treat, so just keep that in mind. This treat is also one that’s really for apple/apple pie fans so if you prefer pumpkin spice, chocolate, or other fall flavors (aside from apple) then you’ll want to consider some of the other treats that are available!
