One part of a Disney World experience that might get overlooked while you’re busy thinking about all there is to do, eat, and ride in the parks is the Resorts!

We’re visiting several Disney World hotels to let you know about any updates we find along the way!

Whether you’re staying at one of these resorts or like to do a little resort-hopping on your trip, here are some updates to construction, merchandise, and other things happening at hotels in Disney World!

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Miscellaneous Updates

We stopped by Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort to see what updates we could find there!

This is a hot spot if you’re a Skyliner fan, since it has the main hub where guests can take Skyliners to other resorts, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT!

We looked around at all the gorgeous views in this HUGE resort!

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Merchandise Updates

While we were at Caribbean Beach, we saw that there was pin trading back at the resort! You could go up to trade pins with a Cast Member inside the hotel lobby!

We also found these really strange Disney Princess bath toys, which look pretty normal from far away…

…but when you get close up you might notice some strange things. Like the fact that Snow White’s eyes are red! Why, Disney? Why does Snow White look evil?

These are at the Caribbean Beach gift shop for $21.99!

We also found some much cuter Wishables in the gift shop, like Kanga and Roo and the Main Street, U.S.A. train!

Now these we would go for!

Disney’s Polynesian Resort Construction Updates

This is a BIG one! Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has REOPENED!

You can bet we were there to see all the updates and take pictures! We even checked in so that we could tour the new Moana-themed rooms!

Can we just say — we were very impressed!

A quick note about the transportation situation here: the Monorail station from Polynesian is still not open, even though the rest of the resort has reopened.

It’s getting more construction updates, so for now there are buses to transport guests to and from the Magic Kingdom!

Disney’s Riviera Resort Merchandise Updates

We found some super cute new Minnie ears at Disney’s Riviera Resort!

These aren’t the first ears to get a Riviera Resort theme, but with sparkly leather ears and a pink Riviera-themed bow, they might be the prettiest!

We love resort-themed ears, because you can show off your favorite hotel in the most Disney way possible!

Disney’s Resort Transportation Updates

Like we mentioned before, we took the Skyliner while we were visiting the Caribbean Beach Resort!

Disney’s Art of Animation Construction Updates

We walked around Disney’s Art of Animation to admire the giant pieces of Disney art around the resort, and we spotted some updates going on with the windows there!

There were several people working on the windows at one of the buildings — maybe some routine cleaning or repairs?

And then we headed to the nearby Pop Century to see if there was anything fun going on there!

And there sure was something fun going on! We saw Goofy and Donald hanging out with the guests!

They were messing around, waving hello, and just spreading smiles around the resort!
