The Smiling Crocodile is a seasonal kiosk at Disney’s Animal Kingdom that served up crazy treats like the Pulled Pork Jelly Doughnut in the past! This is a good spot to get something a little different than the usual Animal Kingdom eats, but we’ve had some mixed feelings about some of their dishes (like those tamales that lit our mouths on fire!).

However, we’re excited to see that the Smiling Crocodile is back with a new menu! The restaurant reopened on July 11th, so of course, we had to go check it out!

Taking a look at the menu, we noticed that some of our favorites, such as the Pulled Pork Jelly Doughnut (which you can now find at the Eight Spoon Cafe), are nowhere to be seen! The quick-service spot is currently offering Pulled Pork Street Tacos, Chicken Street Tacos, and Street Corn Tacos!

Although more and more snack spots continue to reopen in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we’re excited to have the Smiling Crocodile back!

Time to eat!

We ordered the Island Sunrise featuring Jose Cuervo Tequila with Pineapple-Orange-Guava Juice and a hint of Watermelon.

It was topped with gummy worms, of course, because we’re in Animal Kingdom! Sometimes, when taking all of these pictures and videos, things go wrong — the gummy worm had other plans than just sitting in this drink!

When the worm hears that Flight of Passage is only a 15 minute wait… 😂

To eat, we grabbed the Chicken Street Tacos featuring Two Roasted Chicken Tacos tossed in a House-made Sauce with Lime Crema, Cotija Cheese, Cabbage, and Pickled Onion served with a side of Chips and Salsa…

… and the Street Corn Tacos featuring Two Tacos with Black Beans, Roasted Corn, Poblano Peppers, and Red Onion topped with Pico de Gallo, Chili-Lime Mayonnaise, and Cotija Cheese served with a side of Chips and Salsa!

Both of the tacos came with delicious Chips and Salsa!
