Flavors of Florida kicked off today in Disney Springs and brought with it some awesome summertime eats!
We tried a crazy Key lime milkshake AND a Key lime donut! Some of the offerings that came out before the festival began have been fun too, like the watermelon dole whip or Key lime cookies (Florida loves its Key limes!). We’ve been working our way around Disney Springs trying to taste all the food we can, and we just found a cupcake that brings those Florida flavors to life!
This is the Orange Blossom Cupcake from Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC in Disney Springs!
It’s a vanilla cake with orange-flavored frosting, and it’s vegan, just like all of the desserts at Erin McKenna’s!

The cake was very dense but remained moist. It had a lot of fresh orange zest in the vanilla cake, which was absolutely delicious!
The icing was thick and slightly sweet with a fresh orange flavor and a cute orange blossom flower on top!
For a vegan offering, this was super good! Vegans and citrus fans should love this cupcake. But, if you’re looking for a cupcake with that rich, traditional buttercream, you might want to head to a location like Sprinkles!
The cake reminds us of our cute little Orange Bird friend we see all around Disney now! There’s even an Orange Bird mural at Disney Springs that’s perfect to pose in front of during the Flavors of Florida event!
If you want that fresh Florida taste in a cupcake, head on over to Erin Mckenna’s Bakery to pick it up for $6.25! We’ll have more reviews from the Flavors of Florida event coming to you soon, so stay tuned to DFB!
