It’s 4th of July Weekend everyone!
OooOoo Look at that Funnel Cake!
We’ve already seen some patriotic treats around Disney World for Independence Day, like a 4th of July Cupcake at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, a fruity funnel cake in Hollywood Studios, and an amazing Star-Spangled Sundae in Animal Kingdom! And today, we found another festive dessert that will help you ring in the holiday!
This is the All American Mickey Cupcake from BoardWalk Bakery at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn (which just officially reopened, by the way!).
This cupcake is ready to celebrate!
The cupcake is basically the same as the bakery’s Cookies ‘n Cream Cupcake, just with a red, white, and blue makeover!
So many sprinkles!
It’s a chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling (AKA Oreo filling) and vanilla frosting. It’s decorated with red, white, and blue sprinkles and two circular pieces of chocolate on top to look like Mickey’s ears!
We love Mickey treats!
The frosting was super sweet, but the Oreo center was absolutely delicious! We could definitely use a cold glass of milk with this dessert.
