It’s been over a year since we’ve seen fireworks at Disney World, but that is all changing TODAY!
Happily Ever After is BACK!
That’s right — fireworks at BACK in Disney World and we. are. here. for. it! We already brought you the first look at the return of Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom, and now we’re over at EPCOT to check out EPCOT Forever!
First up, let’s talk about the crowd situation. It’s no secret that fireworks tend to draw people to the parks, so we decided to claim our spot a bit early for the first fireworks show in EPCOT since early 2020. And, we’re glad we did because the crowds were READY around World Showcase Lagoon.
A Peek at the Crowds
As a reminder, masks are now optional for all guests when outdoors at the parks (and fully vaccinated guests no longer have to wear them in most indoor locations). So, we noticed that many people decided to forego the mask to take in the fireworks show.

And, when the clock struck 10PM it was showtime! The lights dimmed around World Showcase Lagoon and the fireworks were off!
YAY!
It’s been SO long since we’ve seen this show, and we couldn’t be more excited! The sky was full of color!

Kites are now missing from EPCOT Forever
Harmonious is set to debut on October 1st, along with the 50th anniversary celebrations. And, in the meantime, we are a-okay with ANY fireworks shows at EPCOT!
