Calling all Coco fans!!
Miguel! Long time no see!
So far we’ve seen a few things in the parks for Coco fans to enjoy like the appearance of Miguel in Disneyland, and a beautiful Coco dress that was released last year. But, if you absolutely love singing and dancing along to the fantastic songs from Disney and Pixar’s Coco, then get ready to celebrate your love for all things Coco in a NEW way in the Disney parks!
Earlier today, Disney announced that soon a NEW animated scene based on Coco will be added to Mickey’s PhilharMagic! The song Un Poco Loco will actually serve as the anchor for the new scene.
This marks the first time that Disney and Pixar animators have worked on an endeavor where characters from both animation studios will be seen together on screen! In the art below you can see characters from Coco in a scene with Donald Duck!

Disney notes that the movie’s “fun, upbeat music and characters” will be combined “with the humor of Donald Duck.”
Disney was also able to work with one of the film’s original composers – Germaine Franco – to produce a Coco score that will be unique to Mickey’s PhilharMagic.

Guests will get to watch this new scene (alongside the show’s existing numbers) when it opens in Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland Paris on July 17th. The new scene will be added to Mickey’s PhilharMagic in Magic Kingdom (in Disney World) later this year during Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration.
