Recently, the Bacon of DOOM dish (a.k.a. EPIC chocolate-covered bacon) returned to Disney Springs. Earlier this month, we also got to try the limited time bacon & bourbon spiked shake in Disney’s Art of Animation Resort (it’ll be there through this month so act fast). But now ANOTHER bacon treat has made its way to Disney World — specifically in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort — and this time it’s in the form of a cupcake!
Introducing the Father’s Day Cupcake! This specialty cupcake is one you’ll find over at Capt. Cook’s (a quick service spot at the Poly). The treat is made of a vanilla cupcake with caramel and bacon filling and cream cheese icing, topped with candied bacon, and chocolate pieces on top.

But, more importantly, here’s a look at that candied bacon! Bacon lovers rejoice!!!

We could smell the cream cheese and bacon coming from this cupcake and our mouths immediately started watering.

What’s great is that the filling itself has bacon pieces in it. It adds a nice texture difference.

The mix of the caramel, cream cheese, and candied bacon brought a nice balance of sweet and salty to this treat.
