Another day, another cupcake! Disney has been coming out with flavor after flavor of these handheld treats! Whether it’s Black Forest or Carrot Cake, Disney has a TON of options when it comes to cupcakes!
Black Forest Cupcake
Recently, we spotted two new cupcake flavors at Candy Cauldron and Goofy’s Candy Company in Disney Springs!
In the case at both Candy Cauldron and Goofy’s Candy Company, you can spot a new Key Lime Cupcake and Strawberry Cupcake, both for $5.19!

The first one we tried was the Key Lime Cupcake with key lime cake and vanilla icing! This one was SUPER SWEET, we had a hard time finishing it because it was too sweet! On top of that, the lime in the cupcake was very subtle, it was hardly there.

The frosting was basic vanilla frosting but it was just pure sugar flavor. The “ears” on this cupcake were lime candy melts, but they didn’t really taste like anything! Overall, this cupcake was really really sweet and didn’t have a lot of lime flavor. We were also told that it would have a filling, but when we cut into the cupcake we found disappointment. No filling at all. 😞

The Strawberry Cupcake with strawberry cake, vanilla frosting, and strawberry jelly with chocolate “ears.” And we felt like this one was much better!

The strawberry flavor was present but not overpowering! There was still a bit of a sweetness problem, both of these cupcakes were super sweet and hard to finish!

The cake was dry in both cupcakes and the frosting wasn’t anything particularly delicious. There are much much better cupcakes at Disney World, so maybe steer clear of these unlike you really love sweetness!
