We got some BIG news today!
Disneyās Polynesian Village Resort
Disney just announced that aĀ tonĀ of restaurants are reopening on both coasts ā and that includes one of our very favorites, āOhana. But if youāve been getting excited over āOhana Bread Pudding and all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast (and trust us, we are too!), you may have missed something. Whatās going on with āOhanaās noodles?!
First, letās back up a bit. This fan-favorite āaccompanimentā consists of lo mein noodles tossed in a teriyaki sauce, and theyāre GOOD. And a lot of our readers seem to think so, too!
Noodles and Grilled Vegetables
We had a brief scare way back in 2019 when they appeared to be replaced by fried riceā¦and it seems like that may be the case now! There is no āaccompanimentā section on the current dinner menu ā but an entree option isĀ egg-fried rice. Meanwhile, noodles are nowhere to be found.

Does that mean our beloved noodles are gone for good? Well, we donāt want to jump to conclusions just yet. Thereās a chance that this menu could change before the restaurantās official reopening on July 9th. But we donāt want you to be surprised if the noodles are notĀ up for grabs, either.

If youāre itching to visit āOhana, reservations will open for breakfast and dinner on June 10th. Just keep in mind that character dining will not be available initially. Weāll be checkinā out the scene (and confirming whatās going on with those noodles!), so stay tuned to DFB.

Not sure why in this world when something is good they always need to change or get rid of it. As for the noodles at Ohana going to rice is one of those things. What will they do next get rid of the peanut sauce ???
Why do they seem to always want to meddle with success. The noodles tie the exotic meal together.
Not this again. The noodles are a very big deal. So many things are changing at WDW; please donāt mess with the menu at Ohana.
We need the noodles to return to their rightful place at Ohana! Fried rice is just not as delicious. Noodlegate indeed! š¢š¢š¢
