When you’re traveling across Disney’s Animal Kingdom on a hot Florida day, there are few places better to take a well-deserved break than Nomad Lounge!

We’re always checking in on Nomad Lounge to see what new eats or drinks we’ll discover, so we stopped by today to see if there were any new dishes to check out!
Today, we ordered their Sweet Corn Soup, which we didn’t spot on the menu, but it was available — make sure you ask your server when you visit! This soup includes Cheese Sauce, Lobster Meat, a Jalapeño, and Sweet Corn.

When the dish arrived, however, we wouldn’t have blamed you if you experienced a brief moment of panic. Seriously, we got this BIG bowl with…one scoop of ingredients?
Um, this bowl looks a little…big…for this tiny scoop of ingredients!!
Do not fear! You are supposed to pour the side of Sweet Corn Purée over everything!

Ahhhh, that’s more like it!
When mixed together, this dish is SO tasty and super creamy! We could tell that the Sweet Corn Purée was very fresh and delicious. The presentation of this dish was a lot of fun, too!
It’s so ooey and gooey, just the way we like it!
We like our food spicy so we could have used more of the jalapeño, but if you prefer your dish to be more on the mild side, the heat level might be perfect for you. The one piece of lobster we had in our dish was delicious and the perfect touch to an already nearly-perfect dish.
Yum.
