It’s finally here…Avengers Campus has officially opened to the public!!

We’ve already shared a full review of some of the food you can grab for breakfast there, a sneak peek at the merchandise, and more. Now we’re sharing all the updates with you about something else — the CROWDS! Yeah, as you might have guessed, we weren’t exactly the only ones who wanted to say hello to Captain America and Spider-Man today. But, just how crowded is Avengers Campus on its opening day? Let’s take a look!

Arrival

We’ll start with a peek at the crowds when we first arrived to the Disneyland Resort this morning. Crowds were pretty big already around 7AM!

Even though Disney California Adventure Park was not set to open until 9AM, fans arrived VERY early to make sure they could train with their favorite superheroes.

Waiting

By the time we entered the park, the virtual queue for Avengers Campus was already being utilized!

And it wasn’t exactly a short standby queue. The line already ran all the way down into Hollywood Land and switched back. Ultimately, we found out that the line actually stretched PAST the entrance to Avengers Campus and over towards Paradise Pier.

Cast Members were suggesting that those with WEB SLINGERS virtual boarding groups step out of the regular standby line and just wait for their group to be called.

One of our reporters waited for several hours before being able to even step in the land.

Now, big crowds are (of course) to be expected today as it is the land’s opening day. But, we would caution you to be prepared to encounter larger crowds for a while as the newness of this land continues to attract more guests.

Inside the Land

But, FINALLY we got the chance to step inside Avengers Campus!! Inside of the land, there were a lot of people walking all around.

There were some spots that weren’t quite as crowded…

…but other spots were rather packed!

There’s quite a lot to see here and quite a lot of people who wanted to see it!

There were so many people in this land at one point during our visit that we had trouble even finding a seat where we could eat our food.

And we weren’t the only ones. We spotted several guests who were sitting on the floor to eat and rest.

We eventually found a seat, but just keep this in mind if you’re planning to visit the land. You may need to spend a little extra time looking for a table or even just a bench.

And that’s a look at the opening day crowds for Avengers Campus! Looks like there are a lot of superheroes out there who wanted to get in that training today.
