It’s fun to see celebrities that love Disney as much as we do!

From spotting John Stamos in the parks to watching the various performers during EPCOT’s Candlelight Processional during the holidays, it’s exciting when our favorite celebs share the same passion as us! And we can add another celebrity to that list! Grammy Award-winning recording artist Brandy is helping kickoff a year-long Disney celebration!

Brandy has recorded a song for The Walt Disney Company’s Ultimate Princess Celebration called “Starting Now!”

The celebration is a year-long event focusing on the kindness and courage Disney princesses inspire in people around the world. Disney is honoring the princesses through music, experiences, products, and a campaign to give back to children around the country!

Brandy starred as the title character in the Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella film, so she knows what it’s like to be in the shoes, or slippers, of a Disney Princess! “Starting Now” is available to stream online right now, and the lyrics are even inspired by classic Disney Princess songs!

The single was produced by Grammy Award nominee Oak Felder and written by Jason Mater, Jordan Powers, and Darren Criss. You can check out this video to see the behind-the-scenes of Brandy recording the anthem!

We think the song radiates girl power! The lyrics are a beautiful representation of how brave, heroic, and inspiring the Disney Princesses are. We’ll be playing the song on repeat all year long to celebrate!
