We’ve been busy keeping track of all of the eateries, hotels, and attractions that have reopened (and those that have not) around Disney World since last summer.

Celebration of The Festival of The Lion King
This past week, we were especially thrilled to see Festival of the Lion King return to Disney’s Animal Kingdom in a soft opening before it’s official reopening on May 15th! (Guess what? You can watch it from home if you can’t make it to the park tomorrow – find out how HERE!) And now we’re seeing signs of another spot reopening in the park soon…
Terra Treats (a colorful kiosk steps away from Creature Comforts on Discovery Island) remains listed as “Temporarily Closed” on the Walt Disney World website.

However, hours are popping up for dates starting this Sunday, May 16th! (By the way, Terra Treats is NOT to be confused with Terran Treats, which is opening with Avengers Campus on June 4th in Disney California Adventure!)

The spot is listed with hours from 11AM – 3PM. And if you stop by, it looks like you’ll have a small selection of pizza by the slice to enjoy along with a drink, according to the online menu as it appears today. And since Pizzafari is still closed to serve as a Relaxation Station, it looks like this will be THE place for pizza in the park, at least for now.

The isn’t the first time Terra Treats has served up a slice or two, as we’ve tried the pizza here when Animal Kingdom has offered the Tasting Sampler over busier holiday seasons for the park.

So we’ll be looking forward to ordering from this spot once again starting Sunday! In the meantime, if you’d like to see what’s changed since Festival of the Lion King has happily reopened in the park, you can check it out here! We’ll see you back from Terra Treats on Sunday!
