It’s been a long but exciting road for the Portillo’s near Disney World!

The Chicago-style chain announced its Orlando location in 2019, and our mouths started watering. But the opening was delayed not once, but twice, leaving us wondering WHEN we’d actually get to enjoy our Italian Vienna beef sandwiches, char-broiled burgers, and hot dogs. But now the time has come, friends!
Portillo’s has announced its NEW opening date, and it’s coming up soon: June 15th, to be exact! The eatery will open at 10:30AM, and you’ll be able to find this rock ‘n’ roll-themed diner at the intersection of Palm Parkway and Daryl Carter Blvd. That’s just minutes away from the recently opened White Castle (and Disney World, of course)!

We’re super pumped to try the eats here (and a certain chocolate cake milkshake is already calling our name…). You can bet we’ll be here to review it ALL when Portillo’s finally opens! Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news.
