We’re coming up on summer in Disney World!

But even the rising heat doesn’t feel too bad when you’re strolling around Magic Kingdom! We’ve stopped by Disney’s flagship park a few times over the last few days end we’re bringing you an update with all the news in construction and merchandise!

Magic Kingdom Construction Updates

Tomorrowland

Construction seems to be winding down at Cool Ship. The spot wasn’t open yet but construction walls have come down!

We also were around when Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe was evacuated in Tomorrowland. Cast Members didn’t share the reason for the evacuation, but we did spot fire alarms going off.

The evacuation also affected Star Traders, Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies, the PeopleMover, and the bathrooms. All of the spots later reopened.

Storybook Circus

Over in Storybook Circus, the repainting continues on the Casey Jr. Train but recently, the train’s face was uncovered and you could see some different areas marked off for painting.

Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates

Emporium

Now, let’s talk about merchandise! At the Emporium, we spotted Disney’s new Weighted Plushes for $39.99. These toys are weighted to 2.5 pounds to help folks relax!

There was a Mickey Plush, a Minnie Plush, a Winnie the Pooh Plush, an Eeyore Plush, and a Stitch Plush.

We also spotted these cool Headbands for $13.99!

And there was this SO sweet Nana Disney Babies Plush for $32.99.

You don’t see a lot of Nana merch so we were so glad to see this adorable plush.

Uptown Jewelers

Over at Uptown Jewelers, the Moana Dooney & Bourke Bags that we’ve seen elsewhere had arrived…

…and the Haunted Mansion Loungefly Bags were restocked.

Memento Mori

Memento Mori had restocked the Hat Box Ghost Alex & Ani Bracelet.

Sir Mickey’s

MORE Princess Tiaras and Wands have arrived at Sir Mickey’s for $19.95 each! Now, you can rep Princess Tiana…

…or Snow White!

Tomorrowland Light & Power Co.

Taking it over to Tomorrowland, we spotted two new Magnets at Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. There’s a Pride Disney World Magnet…

…and a Pride Star Wars Magnet!

La Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar

And finally, at the Pirates of the Caribbean gift shop, we saw a Treasure Skeleton Funko Pop! Figurine for $29.99.
